Q. Does LiveDDM own my data?

A. No. The data within LiveDDM is owned and maintained by your dental practice. That data can be exported at any time by the owning dentist into any common format by use of an easy export tool within LiveDDM.

Q. Is LiveDDM used over the Internet?

A. No. LiveDDM runs on a server computer in your office. Workstation computers access the information within the LiveDDM database stored on this server. No office or patient data travels over the internet. LiveDDM uses the internet solely to retrieve updates, and allow our client service representatives to support your office remotely.

Q. When converting data from another practice managment system, how much data can you get?

A. Converting is easier than you think. Our data conversion team is very experienced, and has been able to convert the majority of information in any database to LiveDDM format. Where other companies may offer as little as patient demographics, the LiveDDM conversion team is typically able to get demographics, financials, appointment book information, insurance information, and more!

Q. Can I go paperless (chartless) with LiveDDM?

A. Yes. Using LiveDDM Professional 2006, with LiveChart 2006, you can go chartless. LiveDDM and LiveChart employ the use of digital signature and biometric fingerprint scanner hardware to ensure doctor and patient signatures are secure and legal. Scheduling, billing, insurance, odontogram charting, perio charting, progress notes, and more are all handled by the system, allowing your office to go easily, safely, and legally chartless.
